SMARTBOX is a portable storage and moving concept that provides homeowners, apartment dwellers, college students, businesses, home stagers, remodelers, restoration service providers, HR managers, and do-it-yourselfers with a flexible, convenient, efficient and affordable way to move or store their belongings for 1 day or for 1 year or more. Customers may also access their belongings 7 days a week at our facilities. The company seeks candidates who wish to be active in the business or semi-absentee as opposed to completely absentee owners. Qualification is based primarily on the prospective franchisee's overall business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, marketing skills and available investment. A background in moving and storage is not required. The list of potential franchise markets is limited to ones that possess a minimum population of 400,000 residents, although most of our defined markets are home to well over one million residents.
